A special message from our Medical Assistants…

Choosing a career in the medical field was an easy one for most of us, the complicated part was knowing which department would provide the greatest pleasure and passion. We are fortunate that at FVWCHP because we are able to have an opportunity to learn new things every day as we assist our Pediatric and OBGYN providers.

A career as a medical assistant allows us to interact with patients on a daily basis. On the OBGYN side, we can’t help but smile when happiness radiates from the faces of patients after hearing their baby’s heart tones. And our days always brighten up when patients return post-labor with their new bundles of joy. On the pediatrics side, we are able to see babies, grow into toddlers, curious preschoolers, creative grade-schoolers and dashing young adults.

We grow alongside our patients and their families and these familiar faces become those of great friends. These are just some of the many reasons why we love our job!
