Ultrasound is a very rewarding profession in many ways. We, as a team, enjoy our job because it is very personable.

We have a job where we can interact with people on a one-on-one basis. It is also very beneficial to work so closely with the physicians in determining various pathologies.

The knowledge that we can gain in this profession is endless, and every day we learn something new.

The fact that we have the ability to answer questions regarding someone’s health or to bring a smile to a mother’s face when she hears her baby’s heartbeat for the first time, genuinely fulfills our purpose as a sonographer.
