“I would like to thank Dr. Wang for changing my life! Getting a hysterectomy was the best choice I ever made. I recently moved into the area and came to Dr. Wang with debilitating cramps and a growing fibroid tumor on my uterus that my California doctor turned a blind eye to for years.

Dr. Wang mentioned a procedure that could be done called the daVinci hysterectomy. She explained the whole process and I had no idea that there was a way to have a hysterectomy that was so non-invasive! There was no question in my mind to go ahead with the operation.

Looking back on the surgery (it was only 7 weeks ago) it almost seemed too easy. I know this is a bold statement, but it’s true. My pain was minimal and the hospital stay was short. I arrived in the morning, got into some comfy hospital clothes, went into pre-op and before I knew it, the procedure was done and I was in a hospital room watching t.v. and eating ice chips. By 9:00pm the same night, I was at my kitchen table eating soup. I wasn’t doing jumping jacks, of course, but the pain was actually a lot less than the cramps I would endure monthly. Within a week, I was off my pain medication and doing housework and getting on with my life.

Now the only reminder I have of my operation is the empty space where I would keep all of my monthly supplies and that’s definitely a good thing! Dr. Wang is amazing. Her expertise was needed when the tumor turned out to be quite larger than expected. She kept my incisions tiny and worked her magic getting it out flawlessly. I would definitely recommend the daVinci hysterectomy. It seemed like such a small thing to do in comparison to what I had to endure on a monthly basis.” —Amber

“Once again thank you so very much for the fantastic expertise you did with my surgery on January 23. The ‘no scar’ laparoscopy is unbelievably nice. I am so glad I did not opt for the ‘old’ style hysterectomy. Once my research told me this less invasive method was especially good for healing and for patients like myself, I knew this was for me. Your bedside manner made me feel comfortable and your willingness to share test results with me were a bonus.

I still have no pain whatsoever. There was some discomfort with the gas and bloating but that is a far cry from pain. You are indeed ‘my miracle worker’.

I could not be happier with the service provided by the FVWCHP group and Dr Mills herself.  A yearly appointment that some women might put off being embarrassed or uncomfortable, I make sure I have scheduled right after my current visit because it’s anything but embarrassing or uncomfortable with Dr Mills.She doesn’t make you feel like you are just another patient in the office that day and goes out of her way to really provide the best service possible.  From experience she will even work outside her office schedule if there is an emergency including a minor surgery at the crack of dawn right before leaving for her vacation.

“My husband and I were debating what type of sterilization procedure either he or I was going to do now that our family was complete. When I met with Dr. Harmon to discuss my options, she said the Essure procedure would be the best. Before she offered that, she verified that our family was complete because I am a younger patient for sterilization. I confirmed that we were ready. She then proceeded to say the results were more definitive for non-pregnancy than a vasectomy and less invasive than a hysterectomy. So, it was scheduled. Dr. Harmon and her nurse put my mind at ease regarding the Essure procedure. It was relatively quick and almost pain free. I have never experienced cramping before so when I was experiencing that during the procedure, Dr. Harmon and her nurse told me what it was and that it would end quickly. Dr. Harmon was very informative in the procedure to let me know what was going on. She is always pleasant and was even more so prior to the procedure. I would recommend this procedure to anyone who is done extending their family because it is quick and only 1 follow-up visit is required if all goes well.
