Dr. Charie A. Motley

Licensed Clinical Psychologist

As a clinical psychologist, I am passionate about my role as an agent for change.  My goal is to assist patients with identifying their strengths and use them to make positive changes in their lives. Utilizing evidenced-based methods, I strive to provide holistic treatment that caters to the individual needs of my patients. I am aware of the rapid changes in society and the stressors that may result. As such, I am dedicated to providing treatment that is culturally sensitive. I work collaboratively with patients and their families and use education to ensure that patients are well informed regarding mental health and effective treatment methods. My work with children and adolescents is focused on early intervention and prevention, providing assessments to identify their biological, psychological, and social needs. I find that effective treatment includes a family-centered approach, as each person in the system is an important piece to achieving optimal mental health
