Dr. Kelly Simkins

About Me

I believe taking the time to develop a comfortable relationship with my patients is important when providing healthcare. By developing this comfort level, the lines of communication will open and trust will ensue. Educating my patients is also important so they can make health care decisions whether that is dealing with obstetrics, gynecology in the office setting, or surgery.

Dr. Kelly Simkins graduated Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa in 2001. She attended Des Moines University Osteopathic Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa for her doctoral degree and residency at St. Joseph Hospital in Chicago, graduating in 2005 and 2009 respectively. She has special interests in prenatal care, gestational diabetes, uterine ablation, and laparoscopy. Dr. Simkins is on staff at Delnor Community Hospital and is a member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology since graduation. She practiced at Good Shepherd Hospital in Barrington for two years before joining Fox Valley Women and Children’s Health Partners in 2011.
