Dr. Maria Cocjin

About Me

“I believe in forming partnerships and bonds with both my patients and their families. I feel that establishing this connection is an important cornerstone in helping to achieve optimal health and wellness in the children and adolescents I care for. I am excited to be working at Fox Valley Women and Children’s Health Partners where physicians take pride in practicing evidence-based medicine. I look forward to contributing my knowledge and experience – both as a parent and as a pediatrician – to a practice that shares my commitment to providing excellent and compassionate care to patients.”

Maria Cocjin, M.D. is board certified in Pediatrics. Dr. Cocjin is a graduate of the University of the East Medical Center, Philippines and was awarded Most Outstanding Intern during her rotating internship year. She completed her pediatric residency at Hope Children’s Hospital in Oak Lawn, Illinois and served as Assistant Clinical Professor of Pediatrics at Tulane University Medical Center in New Orleans, Louisiana from 1994 – 1996. For over a decade, Dr. Cocjin has been practicing pediatrics in Bloomingdale and St. Charles where she is a much-respected member of the medical community. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
